We also need the money to build the new baseball club house near left field.

If you want a new roster
going to need to pony up some NIL money. Kids aren’t coming here for free.

Don't hold your breath for that to happen anytime soon. This has been in the making for 10 plus years and yet they still can't get it built. What an embarrassment and total failure on the university's part..

We’ve just been asked to contribute to Cajun Field, Engineering building (phase 1 breaking ground; two more phases to go) along with lab needs in Martin Hall mods, Nursing facilities and future growth, new Catholic student center, plus a campaign to build up our Foundation and this NiL thing. We’re not major donors in any way but the Eagle is screaming.
I hope new blood steps up with $$.

New $$ will be found in the current student body sitting behind the opposing bench at the 50-yard line.

Quick new $$ will be found with conference movement.

Old new $$ is their target.

Mending the fences with the Greeks (and sincerely mean it and sustain it) would go a very long way.

Got a new MBB coach. If students (future donors) are still suppressed with Coach White, MBB will struggle over the long haul to have fans.

When the bulk of your big individual donors are tapping out due to age, health, apathy and death, it’s time for the powers that be to get creative. And flipping to social media is nice, but obviously not getting it done.

People like Heymann, Foreman, Lamson, Mosing and such don’t grow on trees.

It involves work. Work is still hard in 2025.

____. Losing Holzhammer? Seems we can't afford to lose any quality pitchers. I know there was some frustrations with him, but he also gave a good outings.

And Ardoin gone after only one season? I guess he didn't like the lack of playing time down the stretch?

Right now, I'm afraid the choice is either money for a roster or money for a clubhouse. New clubhouse won't do much good if we're losing 30 games a season and missing Regionals.

All of this. That’s why I’ve been saying to be careful with the students. Giving them bad experiences will haunt us in the future when asking them to donate.
