Apparently not, and many RP fans are just fine with losing fans not willing to modernize.

Yes the Lafayette Metro area of Acadia, Lafayette, St Martin, St Landry, St Mary, and Vermilion are right at 600k. The 22 parish Acadiana region is 1.5M and we can’t get 30k average attendance. That has nothing to do with local festivals.

It’s undoing 50 years of poor public relations by the university.

Agreed. Couldn't care less about paying $40 to go and drink beer.

____…. $40 is 5 craft draft beers at Cajun Field. I’d prefer that as long as the selection stays strong (hopefully the quality of beer options doesn’t go the way of the cajundome )

Acadiana is 1 million? That festival isn’t preventing us from selling out.
True, but the target audience is mostly the same. Meaning, people that are considering going to Gulf Brew are probably a similar crowd to those considered going to Cajun Field. That’s why both sides need to pay attention.

Gulf Brew Fest had over 5,000 people attend in 2022. That is a nice size crowd for a downtown festival.

I am assuming that Adopted Dog will be there for the first time. They are huge Cajun supporters, man it would be nice if they did something for the game to promote people coming to their booth to get tickets to the game. Not all 5,000, but maybe have a raffle or free tickets to the first 100 visitors or something like that.

2022:The VIP lounge, which is located at the ACA, will have snacks, an additional bar and private restrooms. When the LSU Tigers kickoff, the black-box theater will turn into a football watch party area complete with its own dedicated bar.
