The Louisiana cross country team won't have to travel far for their opening meet of the 2023 season, heading to New Orleans on September 1 as one of four regular season meets before the Sun Belt Conference Championships.
Two weeks later, on September 15, the Cajuns head to Huntsville, Alabama for the Southern Showcase. The team then heads east to Lake Charles, Louisiana for the McNeese Stampede on September 23 before closing out the regular season on October 13 at the Texas A&M Invitational in College Station, Texas.
The Sun Belt Conference Championships in Foley, Alabama commence on October 26. The year finishes with the NCAA Regionals in Fayetteville, Arkansas on November 8 before the National Championships in Charlottesville, Virginia on November 18.
Last season the Cajun men and women had their highest finish since 2018 at the conference championships. Senior Sophie Daigle finished second in the conference and would be named LSWA Women's Runner of the Year.
