I love Foote. I've even started to like the new producer on RP3s show in the morning. He's pro UL and has good insight.

That woman's response tells you all you need to know about what that station thinks about local sports, the local fan base, and the University. That's a middle finger to all of those.

Find the advertisers, speak thru your dollars. That Bud Lite thing isn’t something new, nor even the Chick-Fil-A anti boycott. I’ve been doing it for a few decades. Don’t like my lifestyle, beliefs or fandom, that’s fine. Won’t see my money.

Just don’t patronize their sponsors and let them know why. I quit going to CCs for years after that RV fiasco. Went back about 4-5 years later and point blanked asked the manager if they had any new LSU promotions, to which I was told “never again”. Lesson learned on their part.

Why is the 2nd largest public University in Louisiana dealing with this type of crap in our own backyard? People like this should get run out of town if we had any pride. God knows this wouldn't stand in baton rouge if the roles were reversed.

Simple. Baton Rouge is an LSU town. Lafayette is also an LSU town.

Guaranty doesn't own WBRZ; the Manship Family does. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if one of the Manships sent down orders to the newsroom to add the "at Lafayette."
