As a neutral, independent observer, I'm not sure this is going to help KLWB. Rather, this series of moves, especially replacing local programming with ESPN network programming during morning drive, will do more to hurt them than to help them. Moscona's a good radio host, but I wonder how many people in Acadiana who are already listening to him on WNXX or via the WNXX app are going to switch to KLWB to listen to the same show.
This is a golden opportunity for the folks at KPEL and TSM to capitalize on a programming misstep by their competition. I'll be interested to see what happens next.
