Each team orders its own jersey. It is up to the coaches to decide what they order and wear. There is no mandate coming down from anyone higher up not to wear Louisiana. The trend started with the baseball team wearing the script Cajuns, and the reaction from fans was overwhelmingly positive. We are not going to have a red jersey with Cajuns and another red jersey with Louisiana.

Softball had a black jersey with Louisiana and those have went away.

These were the best uniforms we've had for branding outside of the stacked Ragin Cajuns. The gray with red pinstripes are a must for road games.

I wanna say we had some just like this but the lettering and numbers were just red outlines and not filled in. I could be misremembering but I really loved these.

I agree but addidas has thrown us some duds as well. One being the white uniform with stacked Ragin Cajuns on top of the big silhouette fleur des lis. Ugh

Addidas had some terrible templates for a good bit. And a lot of teams used them around the country.

For sure. That ghosted FDL one is brutal, though that is one of the only Adidas ones I remember being bad. I generally think most of the Adidas ones have been fine, though maybe a little bland at times.

Just look at Louisville. Adidas branded (I get they're way higher up the Adidas foodchain) and use Fanatics webstore. Both like us. And they put out a replica Adidas sublimated version of their jerseys for $80. And that's a school that has a smaller baseball following than us (by attendance)!

Miss State has the same setup. They offer Adidas sublimated replicas for $80 on their Fanatics site too.

And that's not even getting into the game hat debacle lol

Based on what I've read about these branding deals, there's a good chance Louisville and Miss St are getting these products at a much lower cost than we are.
