I’m curious as to who was it that told baseball to work LOUISIANA and UL out of the uniforms?

Of all the complaints I have about our baseball team, our “Cajuns” jerseys are certainly not on the list. The creams and the reds are clean as hell.
Its unbelievable we have no apparel representing Coach Robe's Cajuns BB standard (the bb with Cajuns across it).
In 2017 I went to the new Athletics Dept building to go get some Cajuns FB helmet decals from Big Lynn (R.I.P. soul) to put on hard hats of our crew (Road Construction). I was familiar with the old Athletics bldg on Reinhardt and that bldg is where I would go get helmet decals from our EM. I wasnt in Lafayette for years while the Program turned into what we all knew we were. Work sent me all over creation. But in '17 I returned to Lafayette. I headed over to the old Athletic Complex with the Equipment Room Manager I knew to get some Cajuns FB Helmet decals. Times of course had changed so I knocked on the door of someone else's office and while in the doorway, Tony Robichaux was handing off some paperwork to the desk. I told them what my purpose of being there was and Robichaux said, no problem lets geaux. We walked over to the bldg., went to the Equipment Manger room and door was locked. 36 text him and the Equipment Manger was gonna be back in probably 40-50 minutes. So Tony said, you're not aware of our improvements to the Louisiana Athletics Facility. I told him I knew nothing. 36 said lets geaux have a look. Tony Robichaux spent one hour showing me the entire new complex. While looking into the indoor practice facility (ironically while im typing this, the Vermillion and White game was held there tonight) he (36) pointed out the batting back stops which folded down from the ceiling. I said he should get someone to fly a drone in there and video batting practice for recruiting efforts. 36 response was thats a great idea. This man genuinely found improvements as seconds tick on a clock. We went through the new weight room, film room, everything. Equipment Room sent him a text saying c'mon, Im back. We get there, I say im looking for some helmet decals and those rolling, sliding shelves to the right was where they were. The 3 of us head down the lane and he pulls a couple and says here you go. Where's 36, he's down the aisle further down and pulls out those big ass Fleur-de-Lis from one side of the helmet back in '14/'15 and says "I'm putting that on the truck"
Let's Geaux.
You guys remind me of The big tech companies who come out with a new app or device and get 90-95% there ... then walk away from the project only to have it canceled a few years later.
Don't auto pilot Louisiana, or make the mistake in thinking it is self sufficient.
