Two freshmen, Caleb Stelly and Luke Yuhasz are both good hitters and will push for playing time.

And, that's what I was trying to say earlier about depth. I think you're going to see a lot of guys play and all may start from time to time.
As a long time Cajuns fan is it OK to have a favorite in the battle for 3rd? Asking for a friend.

According to that kid Max is their best defensive out fielder. But Max also projects at the next level, by the scouts as a 2nd baseman, which is why he made the move to the infield this year. If you watched any amount of this team last year and saw him in center and the way Deggs used him offensively there is no doubt he had the best wheels on that team. Dude is fast.

NIL Baseball idea: Could bands pay players to use their song as the “walk up” song when they come up to bat?

You pay bands to use their music in a public event.

    So, good team then?

I mean apart from either have two great centerfielders or maybe only one or a coach who doesn't know anything about centerfield or a coach that is perfect at picking centerfielders.

The team is very good. Better defensively this year. Better offensively, all things considered.
It all comes down to identifying who can pitch when the lights shine bright.

If we pitch, we will win a lot of games.
