Did they? It didn't seem to affect overall attendance

Maybe when home games are on Fridays? I think that was actually done against OK St on a Friday years ago.

1k? Pretty sure my spot is 500 bucks and no one TGs alone, split with a couple of friends that is nothing. Plus I am pretty sure all the reserved TG spots are sold.

Our schedule has been very lackluster combined with midweek games.
I understand and agree. That's my point. Our success on the field doesn't affect our tailgating as our fan base is largely rooted in LSU

Remember the ban on leaving the stadium and not being allowed back in?

This prevented a lot of tailgaters from coming in at all.

Superdome would be sold out within hours if not minutes!

The biggest issue around Lafayette and area is all the stores that sale shirts, hats, etc. are 80% LSU, 15% Saints and 5% Cajuns. Hell, even or damn TV stations are all about LSU. There has got to be something we can do to get this city and metro area to the games. Move to the Big12 or ACC and this would fix our problem day 1!!!

Not picking on anyone, but I think this is one of our major concerns when it comes to making changes to enhancing game experiences. People in general make suggestions for the athletic department to consider and when they do follow through, some fans are ____ed because those enhancements come with a price tag. The cost of game day operations increase yearly, an changes to parking, tailgating and other ancillaries will have a cost attached. They are not going to make enhancements for free. The cost will be absorbed by the consumer.

CF doesn't have the room to do this, but the point is, as I've mentioned here before, our Athletic Dept/Marketing could learn a ton from these guys..
