Mike, congrats on being recognized on the court. You definitely deserve it!

Most of the missing ticket holders had given up on Marlin before the first practice this year. Now with the historic number of injuries they simply do all the honey-do things before baseball, softball, lawn work, spring cleaning, spring game, Easter-break. They've sworn off futile attempts to make Marlin some kind of iconic coach just having a nasty run.
Have no doubt the injuries are real, and unprecedented in UL basketball history. That's why we're being totally outclassed. A healthy team would still have many Marlin created obstacles to overcome, but that's just an opinion based on his lackluster history here.
I thought that Spenkuch filled in okay, but he still has a ways to go. He played in the zone defense, but not sure he would play that much if the Cajuns were playing in man-to-man.
Mike, if Cedric is hurting that much (and it showed last night), why doesn't Marlin give him a couple of minutes rest in the first and second halves? That is probably another reason Bob went with the zone all game long. Jaylon Williams could have played a couple of minutes in the zone defense and he has shown he can make a three point shot.
Personally I believe Malik Wilson is better than either of the two guys you mentioned but it is a matter of opinion. In some ways Julien is better than they as well. Especially since the Cedric Russell we are seeing now is no where near the healthy Cedric. I don't like using the word "garbage" when referring to people and players are people. I do agree that many of the players seeing time now are not as talented as we need to be competitive.
