Anyone know what the average RPI of teams we best this year ended up being? Same question for losses?

Also, how many D1 wins did we have? 16?

When’s the last time we last to 4 RPI bottom 200 teams in the same year?

Average RPI for all D-1 wins was 220. That is a damned shame. As expected, 0-4 in Q1 games.

And this was with a super recruit (Russell) and arguably the conference player of the year...

I think the most glaring case that can be made is conference tournament wins. If it does come down to the 3 games played in the SBC tournament each year, Coach Marlin has won 8 games in 9 seasons. That is less than 1 win in our conference tournament per season.

Average RPI for wins = 220 (Not counting Virgin Islands and Loyola (N.O.))

Average RPI for losses = 139 (Without Kansas and Tennessee would've been 169)

D1 Wins = 17 (17-13 overall record for D1 Games)

The last time we had this many Quadrant 4 losses was in 2014-2015 with 5.

Do you know how hard it is to win a neutral site game! Especially having the game before run 15 min over it's almost an impossible task.

I'm not certain I can add to anything else that has been said other than that I have no confidence in Coach Marlin when it comes to winning consistently in the SBC tournament. Sitting back and enjoying wins against a poor schedule doesn't excite me as well, so there is nothing more to say on the subject.

My only point was that there do not appear to be any metrics which can be put together where a shining star would appear. Just an observation looking at it from the outside.
