    Things more important than winning:
    1) Having a media outlet use UL or Louisiana
    2) Putting stands in the NEZ and having a symmetrical look to the stadium
    3) Coaches wearing Red
    4) Free parking

You are just having a very Black Tuesday. You struggling on several threads today.
All I know is in my lifetime through the Stokley years we never had black in any uniforms or paraphernalia. To this day our school colors are vermillion and white. If all those people you mentioned want to be out of school colors then let them that doesn't mean I have to approve...... To be honest the way I see things going over the last several years, I wish they'd just change the colors to red and black officially. That would make more sense than what ever it is they are trying to do now.

Under your theory, maybe they should wear purple and gold to confuse the recruits about what LA school is recruiting them. School colors are school colors. I wear Ragin Cajun apparel every time I travel and it is amazing how many people know of our school. Go Cajuns!

HA Ha back in those days every coach in america wore gray PE coach looking shirts for practice. Stokley never wore any thing other than vermillion and white on game day, press conferences and I would guess in home visits as wel

Turbine, can we please move all the school colors post into their own thread? Some of us, are trying to keep up with recruiting in this thread.

You ever wonder why App state or southern miss coaches don’t wear red shirts all the time? You know as long as their respective schools are branded over their heart. I am sure their fan bases would be fine with those coaches and the way they represent the school.

Both schools coaches wear white a lot even though their colors are black and gold. They wear white a lot more often than gold

Have you ever noticed that every school in America wears white, as it is the color the visitor must wear in most cases? When you can say that about black let me know and thy will be done. It’s just not the same comparison. Good try it was a valiant effort.

No actually you used a bad analogy. So you are perfectly fine with Robe wearing gray everyday and never wearing red or white is what you are saying? Just so we are clear. You can also say that black and white are not colors.
