I always leave that one out because I would hate for a couple of RP posters to have a drop dead heart attach. I like all of our posters.

    1. Black is not a color so there is nothing's there to harp about.

    2. I'm pretty sure every single sports team for this university wears black at some point in time.

    3. Black portrays a sense of confidence, strength and professionalism.

    4. I would bet that many of the complainants should try black, they might like the way they look in black.

Turbine...please, no more "BLACK IS NOT A SCHOOL COLOR" post or thread topic, it's killing my buzz.

Wrong. As long as all the media and teams refer to us as Louisiana, then wins and losses don’t matter.

See that nice RED Louisiana. It has to be a red one.

If you are referring to me, I got plenty of black, I wear it on sundays.

But hey you may be right about that bad dream. Jerry Baldwin introduced black to our football uni and coaches attire and I don't want to go back there. If you like black as a cajun gear color you must love Jerry Baldwin. (Just adding 1+1 and getting 4 like many on here)

So what is more aggravating to Cajun fans? Name police like myself, or black is not a school color folks?

And so must baseball and softball and basketball and track and cross country and golf and tennis and the university book store and on and on and on. I guess that is why we sued Baldwin for 18 years to stay here.

You are just having a very Black Tuesday. You struggling on several threads today.

Give me a minute to pour a glass of bourbon. Then I’ll continue ignoring this question! 😎🥃

Black is actually smart on the recruiting trail.

Eliminate the possibility of wearing the colors of their arch enemy in highschool.
