I didn't say that. There are plenty of FCS schools with FBS talent and vice versa. The biggest difference between the two divisions is the 20 extra scholarships. In that regard, we are pretty much FCS right now.

We were just a few plays here and their from 10-2 last season. We were looking to break out with that record this year. Now it’s all out the window.

Idiot post. Hud's recruiting was in the bottom 20% of FBS his last 3 years. It'll take a solid couple years to fix. Our best DL last night (#17) is a Napier recruit.....poor recruiting evident in our defensive front 7 et OL. What we saw in the trenches was predictable.

Offensively, I saw a good game plan. First 3 4th downs was great play calling, our players didnt execute.

The way I see it is we are FBS on offense and FCS on defense. We have 18-20 players we can trust on offense. We have about 6-8 on defense.

So you can't see what you're going to get out of your coach prior to year 3? I get that it takes time to recruit and all but you still have to coach the players you do have. I mean, that is coaching. You can play disciplined ball with the current players. You can make proper adjustments with current players. We aren't an FCS team with no players.

It's only been 2 games...I don't see how judgement can decided on 2 data points. They played a goat, then played a very tough team.

Also, if you don’t want and expect to win every time we step on the field, you’re a suck arse fan. Save the “realist” lecture. We are all adults here; learn to compartmentalize. UCF didn’t go 13-0 by hoping to just compete with P5. No, they expect to win and so should we.

Get your fair weather asses to the field on Saturday. This is a process.

There is no judgement being made but I'm also not dismissing the first year or two just because the team is not fully "his" players. If he will be as great of a coach as many seem to think he is or will be, we can make improvements from last year this year.
