We haven't seen "The Guy" and we won't see "the guy" for 2 years.
You will see "his program" when his first recruits are upper classmen.
Until then you look for things like disciplined football, playing 60 minutes, and so on.
So you can't see what you're going to get out of your coach prior to year 3? I get that it takes time to recruit and all but you still have to coach the players you do have. I mean, that is coaching. You can play disciplined ball with the current players. You can make proper adjustments with current players. We aren't an FCS team with no players.
No one should listen to "That Guy" until "The Guy" has an opportunity to "Guide" "His Guys" for a couple of years.
Actually we're pretty close to being an FCS team. FCS has 65 scholarship players. Napier has given five scholarships to players (that we know of...could be more). That has gotten us to about 75 schollys. As far as players who were recruited to be on scholarship is concerned, we are definitely at FCS numbers.
