He was trying to spread MS's stout defensive front out . Their front seven is loaded with NFL talent

I’m gonna let the season play out and give the man a full recruiting class or 2. The scheme looked good. Just don’t have the athletes to execute on the level needed against that caliber opponent. I think and hope he’ll recruit well. He will have to if he wants to win here.

I heard the SEC announcers say tonight that he was taking his team to Tuscaloosa tonight after the game. Why? So they'll have mercy?

My bottle of Rolling Rock is fully coherent 😊

Who's Clark? Not Clark Griswold? Greatest family man that ever lived 😀
I take that as a compliment my friend.

The team stayed in Tuscaloosa for this game because it's better than StarkVegas and we're going to be there in two weeks. That's all.

Bring on BAMA...do they still have JV teams in the SEC...congrats Coach HUD...you are so lucky to be somewhere that actually knows how to play football

I only ask this because we judged Hud pretty harshly his last year. It was explained that we're now taking a step up with this new guy. Not to mention the money involved in all this.

Show me Something Nape. That's all I'm saying.

We judged Hud harshly last year because of the amount of underachievement we received from the game schemes to the lack of recruiting that occurred in the last few years of his tenure here.

What you’re seeing now is the remnants of that in which Nape has to basically start from scratch. Is it disappointing to lose this badly tonight? Yes but remember, these type of rebuilds take time. It’s not going to magically change overnight against an SEC West team who’s ranked #16 nationlly.

Next week will really tell the tale of where we are at as a program.

Even though we loss I saw a different team out there. I am encouraged that we are moving in the right direction. It is easy to look at other schools getting wins against Power schools but our luck is we schedule them one year to late. I don't expect to win the NC this year but I know we are improved just by the product on the field. MS has their best team in years a true top 25 team.

One lesson to be learned in all of this cajun nation...MSU put 60k in the seats for this game...this was their New Mexico State or South Alabama game. We won't put half that in the stands for the remaining home games...Lafayette/Acadiana is 3x the population of the Starkvegas area...why?
Because MSU football is important and relavent to their fans and students...
