Pretty sure Coach Napier will release depth charts by Twitter and avoid the local fake news. 😎
Here are a few and they are scrimmage performance specific
1) What were big plays excecuted by offense and who where the so called skill players who executed them.
2) Were there any turnovers forced by the defense and who was involved in those?
3) Did we work on third down situations and what was the percentage of those converted by the offense.
4) Did the No. 1 defense and No. 1 offense ever go at each other. If so, who got the better of things.
5) Was there anyone that is currently on the 2 deep that did so well he will be considered to move to the group of 1's.
6) Did Elijah Mitchell participate and if so, how effective was he?
7) Who were the leading rushers and receivers? Who had the most tackles?
Did not suggest any questions regarding the quarterbacks as he probably won't answer them. He probably already knows that word has gotten to this forum that Nunez appears to be in the lead for the starting job. Would be interesting to ask if he is aware that a certain social media forum has had posts placed there indicating Nunez is in the lead. If so, can you comment on those. That aside, I am surprised Nunez appears to be the guy from what I saw in the spring game. I thought Lewis was excellent that day. I do suspect both will play quite a bit this season regardless of who starts. I understand that all of these cannot be asked but in general I am looking for actual names that stood out from the scrimmage. I was disappointed things like this were not a focus of the questioning by the media last Monday.
I think it happens a fair amount, it just something that folks close to the program would know. Many programs have a 'power' side of the line and a 'quick' side of the line. It doesn't mean that one side isn't quick or the other side doesn't have power, but where a strength may be.
As long as you keep some balance and aren't too predictable, I'm not overly concerned with it at this point.
