Thread: The Louis Beal Story

  1. UL Football The Louis Beal Story

Sitting in his dorm room on the Dodge City (Kan.) Community College campus, Louis Beal III took a deep breath and expressed his joy.

After recently learning his transcript had been accepted by the NCAA Clearinghouse the Michigan native called his grandmother to share the news.

    The suspense was over.

He was finally a member of UL's football program.

    The rest of the story

    Prolly not....

I'm sure the fact that he signed with Louisiana bumps him down to a one star.

Did I mention that I LOVE recruiting rankings

No, because Beal sat out a year so he would only rank as a 2 star.

Sounds good to me. I'll take him!

Considering Deon Wallace's status is still up in the air. At least the last I heard...

I found him on facebook and already sent him a message congratulating him and welcoming him to the UL program. I want him to make sure he's excited about playing here because he can really help with the turnaround we need. Can you picture he as RB and Gauthier as QB? Yes, I can.

    here's his original recruiting interests:

He can't hurt our Linebacking corps....

I am most excited about Kyron Benoit at Linebacker. This kid is the real deal.

I am also excited to see Grant Fleming in action, he is going to turn into the cornerstone of the D real quick!

Are you saying that anyone who sits out a year gets a 2 star at best, regardless of his ability. If that is true then Bird of Paradise is right when he states recruiting rankings are meaningless. Personallly, I think they have some merit for the top teams in the BCS leagues. After that, it is wise not to put much stock in them.

It is very unlikely he will play LB. He is almost set for RB.

I hope he has realized what he is getting into.
