You cant compare a club sport to an NCAA sanctioned sport. Those guys and gals work very hard no doubt, but only a few schools compete. Different set up for softball etc.

I don't have any idea what is being planned, but if some of this is true, what do ya'll think about building a new baseball facility and converting the old "Tigue" into a first class softball facility?

Ok guys, I just can't keep it a secret any longer...

UL is building a BIO Dome over the swamp, it will be sponsored by SUBZERO, and will be the world's only cryogenic swamp. Grace's Arctic Curling Swamp, is set to open February 30th, 2009, and will feature live penguins and polar bears, and serve as UL's very own indoor curling arena. This will be the largest facility of it's kind, in the world. Ms. Grace has been retained to lead the training program in UL's newest sport, and has been granted extensive leeway in both the design and training aspects of the project. Please pay careful attention as she shares some technical terms and expert advice concerning the project:

_ Nice field! I spoke with an ex cajun player about 1 month ago, (I don't remember his name), he has a notary office on Jefferson St in Lafayette. This player told me that a private donation (3 MILLION DOLLARS...WOW!) was given to the baseball program by another cajun player (I don't remember his name either...) who played in the 70's for the cajuns and in the pro's for a small amount of years. This donation was given in December... I wonder where this money could be applied? HMMMM? Sorry for the lack of details, but I believe him...he's got cajun baseball picks all over his office and pictures of him with pro's as well as autograph's from some pretty big names. I'm sure he would be happy to talk baseball all day... _

He will be donating 5mil and getting another 3mil to 5mil from some of his friends. There will be 3 different renovation proposals given to coach Robe....one for 5mil, one for 8mil and one for 10mil.

I've been wondering this since this became a sport, but what the hell is curling, and how is it a sport?!?

Man, haven't you ever been to a gym? All of those people holding those metal bars with the big round things at the ends, and then bending their elbows??? That's curling. Competitively, contestants are separated into groups, by body weight of course, and try to out lift their opponents. They must perform lifts with both arms, and the average of both lifts makes for their score. You should check it out at the Olympics.
