I think Hud is a good stepping stone from Baldwin like Baldwin was a stepping stone from the one that shall not be named. Hud has set the stage for a good hire (just think 15 years ago Mcsuck coaches would not come here) ... Hopefully, the next coach can win the big game
Exactly. It's the natural progression of things. Bustle brought us from the grave to respectable, HUD gave us some momentum and now, soon, a competent Atheltic office would understand that and take the next step up the evolutionary ladder.

But thats the problem. We don't and more than likely never have a competent athletic department. Our president likes what our AD was done and that speaks volumes as to both of their merits. Realistically how much longer will T-Joe be on the job?

Savoie isn't going anywhere anytime soon. Academic side loves him. And that's fine, the guy is very good at running a university. The problem is, he's clueless on how to run an Atheltic department and he's employing a numbskull to do so.
