I look at Lake Charles and McNeese and think...Why.

They are stuck in a time warp of 30 years ago. Either come over to Acadiana and rejoin your historical ties or keep going west to the promised land of Texas.

At least our name embrassed the history of the area from the start.

If you don't know that southwestern Louisiana was developed by mostly Cajuns, it is you who is ignorant.

The Cajun Cowboys have a very long history of cattle ranching and farming from Vermilion Parish to the Sabine.
