On Wednesday, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns men's basketball will make a short trip on I-10 West to take on in-state opponent, McNeese State in Lake Charles, La. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. CT at Burton Coliseum.
•UL looks to snap a three-game skid with a road trip to in-state opponent McNeese State on Wednesday.
•The Cajuns lead the all-time series with the Cowboys, 52-32. Last season, McNeese defeated UL and the Cowboys have won three of the last four meetings.
•UL's last win against the Cowboys came in 2008-09 with a 73-64 victory at the Cajundome. The last win for Louisiana in Lake Charles came in the 2004-05 season with a 71-70 victory.
•The last four meetings in Lake Charles have been determined by a total of 10 points:

•Six of the next eight games for the Cajuns will be on the road. UL will only play two home games in the month of December (Texas College - Dec. 12; Lamar - Dec. 19).
•UL is coming off a heartbreaking loss to Houston, last Tuesday. The Cajuns let a double-digit half time lead slip away after two big runs by the Cougars at the start of the second half. UH then held UL scoreless for the last five minutes of the half to steal a 78-65 win from the Cajuns.
Notes and Trends
SCOUTING THE COWBOYS
•McNeese is now 2-3 on the season with the three losses being to top ranked teams and on the road, Washington out of the Pac-10, Southern Miss of C-USA and Miami of the Big East.
•Victories have been over Georgia State and Louisiana College.
•Through five games, senior Diego Kapelan is the team's leading scorer with an 18.0 average while Patrick Richard has a 12.8 mark and Stephan Martin a 10.4 mark. P.J. Alawoya leads in rebounding with a 7.5 average and Richard has a 6.2 mark.
•Point guard C. J. Collins is the leader in assists with an average of 3.2 per game and he leads in steals with a 1.6 average while David is the leader in blocked shots with four.
•Alawoya is the leader in field goal shooting with a .636 mark on a 14 of 22 shooting effort and Martin has made 10 of 11 free throws for a 90.9 percentage.
•Kapelan, who scored his 1,000th career point in the game with Miami, leads in three-point shooting with 18 goals in 37 attempts for a 48.6 percent. Martin is hitting 50 percent with eight of 16.
•Also in the Cowboys' last game, Patrick Richard scored his 600th career point. Martin is now at 641 points in his career while Alawoya has 543 points as well as 530 rebounds.
GLASS CLEANERS
•The Cajuns currently hold a slight rebounding edge over the opponents after averaging 39.2 rpg.
•At Houston, the Cougars outrebounded the Cajuns, 41-39, but UL dominated the glass on the offensive end, grabbing 17 offensive rebounds compared to UH's seven.
BLOCK PARTY
•Scottie Farrington swatted a team-high eight shots in the loss to Cleveland State.
•It was the first time a player has posted at least eight blocks since Michael Southall had 11 against North Texas in the 2005-06 season.
FEELING FINE
•After sitting out all last season due to a gruesome injury suffered in the final game of the 2008-09 season, La'Ryan Gary has begun to make a significant impact
•This season he is averaging 9.2 ppg compared to his 6.9 ppg average from 2008-09
•Against Cleveland State, Gary led UL with 19 point, six rebounds and four steals
ALL OVER THE RADAR
•Randell Daigle put together a career-night in the loss to Creighton. He was 9-of-17 from the floor including 7-for-13 from three-point range. He set new career records in points (25), FG's made (9), rebounds (9) and three's made (7).
•His scoring effort was the most since his freshman season when he scored 24 against LSU in 2008-09.
HOLDING COURT
•Courtney Wallace put together a sold stat line against Creighton. It was his best showings of the season with 8 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block and 2 steals.
•With the effort, he set a new career record for assists in a game and tied a personal best on the glass with the 9 rebounds, including 6 offensive boards.
DOUBLE DOWN
•Travis Bureau posted his first career double-double in the win over Louisiana College. He also set a new career-best for rebounds in the 16-point, 14-board performance.
PERFECT PEREZ
•Newcomer David Perez started off hot, knocking down shots at a .700 clip (14-20), in just his first two games as a Cajun. From three-point range, he is currently hitting .558 (10-18). In his first five games since transferring from Centenary, the junior guard is averaging 10.6 ppg.
THE FOUR HORSEMAN
•Four players rang up double-digit numbers in the 91-66 win over Louisiana College. David Perez led all Cajuns with 22, Travis Bureau had 16 while Scottie Farrington and Josh Brown chipped in 15.
20-20
•Dating back to last season, Travis Bureau has scored 20 points in back-to-back games.
•Last season at the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, the senior forward put up 22 points against Louisiana-Monroe. Earlier this season against New Mexico State, Bureau scored 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting.
HE'S BACK
•La'Ryan Gary returned to the court for the Cajuns for the first time since suffering an injury during the opening game of the 2008-09 Sun Belt Conference.
•Against New Mexico State, the senior scored six points and had three rebounds in 16 minutes of action.
DOUBLE DIGIT DEBUTS
•Two newcomers scored in double digits in their UL debut.
•Josh Brown and David Perez both scored 16 points in the season-opener against New Mexico State.
•Brown was 8-of-21 with four rebounds.
