Based on McNeese 2007, UL 2015, or some other variable?

Man I can't take Schultz serious. That dudes voice annoys the s..h..i..t out of me. He reminds me of a politician who says anything to gain popularity.
PS: I don't listen to jay walker either.

This. There is nothing that could tell me that we will all of a sudden become some sort of offensive juggernaut that can score 50 points on anybody, regardless of their conference. McNeese will always have the highest of motivation to beat us, in our house, and I hope we can match it which is Hud's job to do.

Talent separation over the past 5+ years is the difference. We have "quality" athletes now, not just glorified all district players that got 3 offers from ULM, UL, and Milsaps
And all this talent took the college football world by storm last year with 4 wins. 4! I do agree that our talent level is much better than it was in 07 but lets not make this out to be something it isn't.....which is another game we need to prepare well for to win. This will not be some stepover game in which our starters are on the bench in the 3rd quarter.

Me too. Enjoy the NBA talk because I watch the NBA, in particular the Pelicans. Funny thing is that many of the people who complain about the NBA talk are those that would rather call in and talk about baseball which is like watching paint dry.

One thing that he ignores in his rant is what McNeese has done against FBS competition the last 4 or 5 years.

Of course, the past doesn't mean much. This is a new McNeese team with different players, new coaching staff, new QB, some inexperienced offensive linemen and some players that will sitting out suspensions for the game.

It doesn't look good for us.

And we have too many question.. New Qb, O line, a talented ( at least on paper ) secondary. ANd then there's Hud. Will he be the "enlightened" Hud or the die by the self indulged belief that his way is right (see Les Miles). As for the Boise game, well i'm not buying it. After we got smacked by the razorbacks when we all thought we stood a chance, my money is on the same team that gets skull drugged . Hud has to prove me wrong.

We are in no position to overlook anybody, especially a team that won 10 games last year.

I'm starting to understand your position much better as you post. You're one of those fans that look at the W/L column exclusively. The talent was not the issue last year (the shape of the talent, the health of the talent and the coaching of the talent is another story). And even with those issues, the QB debacle and the brainless coaching decision, this team still should have won 6 games.

McNeese game will be over at halftime.

I can't believe I'm going to be the one to defend this team and staff, but I'm going to. This is a new team. This team has a complete different focus and attitude. We have LEADERSHIP this year. I believe we'll have an offensive identity this year. We have some depth at most positions, and I'm telling you, the Oline and the defense as a whole will be strengths.

The Boise St game can't be compared to 2 years ago. Players always think they can win at home. Time, travel and heat play some roll in this equation. Jennings has something to prove. Eli has something to prove. I can promise you this: Otha Peters don't give a ____ about no damn Boise St Broncos. AJ and Eli ain't scared. Al Riles and Savion will fight anyone, anytime, anywhere.

You guys know I'm no sunshine pumper. I'm just telling you what I see. I believe in this team.
