Quit being scared of McNeese. This isn't a Bustle driven bus anymore. We don't offer recruits crawfish dinners to lure them into our double-wides anymore.

Talent separation over the past 5+ years is the difference. We have "quality" athletes now, not just glorified all district players that got 3 offers from ULM, UL, and Milsaps

If we don't throttle that team, it's 10000% on the coaches. Our talent is so superior (god I can't believe I'm evening putting an FCS on a D1 level comparison) to them it's sad that we're evening talking about this.

Our talent was superior in '07 as well. We were about to blow them out and then spotted them a 14 point lead off of turnovers and the complexion of the game changed.

But with all we lost from last season plus some starters that will be suspended for the game, you guys shouldn't have any problems.

Agree 100% Cajun T. Dave Schultz did make a good impression. I listen to him every chance I get. He is entertaining and even if I disagree with his point, I find his research on the matter factual and most important , ENTERTAINING!! That's why anyone would listen to sports radio anyway.. The one thing I love most about his show is that he says the truth with an outsiders view.

I agree with this. I still enjoy listening to Jay but between Scott (I am younger and hipper... and oh by the way so above those of you who don't want to listen to my NBA takes) and Stevie( with the lame "I am smarter, better looking and now lets talk hot stove baseball) 1420 has become difficult to listen to.

I am one who enjoys listening to Scott talk about the NBA. There are others besides me as well.

this would be a major nail in Huds coffin.. That loss would be unforgivable. The only way to compare our program is going up against the georgia's of the world as well as in state opponents. The damage done would be catastrophic. I for one have not forgotten our 2 losses to tech and to throw Mcleast in would be something I could not forget. Gents, Mcleast has D1 cast offs too and they have talent. But this had better be a 17 point victory or more. Otherwise Hud needs to refund some money .

I don't believe they will win this game, but I'm not predicting a stomping from the Cajuns. Guidry did a good job defending Hudspeth while at Western Kentucky, but I don't see this as a loss.

Yes.. Guidry is a gambler style coach in the same mold Hud used to be in his first season b4 he became hard headed and seemingly stagnant .
