I don't think it's possible. You could probably do something with the lights, but there's not enough time to do anything with the grandstand, press box, or outfield.
There have been some NCAA stipulations placed on stadiums to qualify for hosting regionals. From some discussions I remember (don't hold me to this, and BOP might have better memories) it being mentioned lighting and press box faclities wouldn't pass muster, with lighting being the major issue. There were some stipulations about temporary lighting could suffice, but they were expecting hard & fast rules about it for this years regionals. It would be a concern at this point whether the stadium could host for 2008. I'll try to get some additional info and post it.
practice practice practice that is were it should be learned not at game time.. It is all about discipline. And I don't think this team is very disciplined.
Shocker,
As a fan of this University I hope you have done the obivious and called Gerald Hebert and given him your business owner friend's name. Also call Coach Hudson and give him the kids name that hasn't recieved a letter.
If it is the kid I am thinking about he also shared with me that he is going to LSU as a walk on also I don't think the letter or even an offer to this kid would make much of a difference with the promise of playing frosh at LSU.
So b/c I don't have kids, I use the word "pathetic" to describe some parents reactions and now I'm an ass? That doesn't make a lot of sense at all.
Criticism is a part of any athletics ranging from youth, to high school, and especially college. I still don't see why we should be worrying about feelings on a sports board, especially if its not even about the feelings of players themselves. sss statement or not.
Sorry, didnt call you an sss, although after reading my post I might be able to see how you thought I did....
You don't have kids so you have NO idea what its like to be a parent and have someone downing/questioning your sons/daughters coaches, team, or kid. Taking into acct all this, maybe it would be common courtesy for some/NOT YOU to lighten up. Parents reactions should not be considered pathetic.
Now, should parents be on the message boards? Maybe not, just the fact that they are ought to maybe make us think a bit before we post...In other words, "there is a way to word things and get your meaning across without coming off as being an sss.

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification.
From my end, I saw nothing wrong with the initial post which seemed to start all the ruckus once a players mom jumped in. I was just saying, some people seemed to be focusing more on the feelings of an obviously upset player parent(one person) rather than the big picture which concerns all of us, the struggles (past and present) of our football team. That's what I was attempting to point out, and I still believe that. But I guess I could have used better vocabulary in order to distance myself from the people who you describe.
