Thus the great disdain for the expertise of the report as it clearly questioned our relationship to Town Square vs people like IMG. No doubt we do not have an impartial person in Jay, or any of the Town Square people. I don't blame them, but we the fans and the UL administration needs to understand they stand to lose a big part of their properties if we follow Alden, or maybe Town Square have to pay a lot more, better FM outlets for coach shows, and more stations in general.
Something needs to happen on the financing this week.
It is not a totally donor sponsored project. The university will borrow the difference and the state will back the loan.
----WOW Vob got those hate vibes going early this morning----I will wait and find out the whole story which I don't think anybody on here knows and then pass judgement----Do you know any steps that are being taken from the report? I don't know if they are or not --If they aren't taken and you know why or if they are taken and you know why----then express your feelings about something you know, if not, the whole thing is hypothetical guess----Just think back about how many times you posted about taking money from RCAF by cutting our budget---then we find out that we have been funding much more to athletics but in a different method---Just get ALL the FACTS and then you can then state your feelings on real stuff!!!---Oh I have found that article on the Panama Canal and think you will enjoy it!!!
It just boggles my mind how so many kiss the arse of SF and the rest of the university good ole boy mafia group. Not calling any of you out specifically, but I bet with the amount of hairy arse kissing being done, you could create a SF arse flavored potato chip.
I think the time has come. I'm going to have to put you, Boomer, on the ignore list. Your comments have become so apologetic, you are actually HURTING the cause for change and progress.
How in the hell can you question "steps taken"? It's been over 3 months and not even the obvious, easy things have been done.
Before you start asking me if I know, you're damn right I do. Supposedly, Savoie and JLL will be "ordering" TV production equipment. I was not given a timeline. But I was told that Farmer and Martin (the two most indicted names in the personnel critique portion of the Alden Report) will be leading the charge. Exactly the opposite of the recommendations that we paid big money for.
History is repeating itself, and people like YOU Boomer, are helping it a long.
""In his now famous buffoon comment he said that late cost increases caused the product to balloon way beyond the ten million that was talked about in the fall. ""
why doesn't a late increase violate the bid process? did other companies bid on this project?
I would win every bid, every time, if I am always allowed to raise it after I am chosen.....
