You can say that about a lot of teams, including Milwaukee and Houston (and pretty much the Cubs too). Fact of the matter is that Texas is his best chance of those mentioned given recent history of success. No?

The Cubs will be World Series champs in the next 3 years. Big league roster is loaded and farm system is top 5 now that Theo is in charge. One more postseason pitcher and a reliever, Cubs will be the best team in baseball. Weren't even supposed to be "there" yet last season, and almost won 100 games.
