Noticed that too. Our freshman played admirable in trying to check Long but I was surprised by how ULL guards weren't able to make entry passes (couldn't figure out angles). Alex Hamilton was the best player on the court, hands down. Glad to finally get over the hump with you guys. Definitely outplayed us the last couple of years.

The start of the season in basketball has been disappointing but let's not completely write off this team before conference gets really revved up. We're playing a style of basketball that leads to a lot of possessions, but we need to adjust occasionally for better shots -- getting Long the ball in the post against teams with no size -- and hit our threes. Threes and layups are the smartest shots you can take on a basketball court so I'm glad Marlin has realized that but 28% from 3 won't cut it, especially from a team that led the SBC in three point % last season.

So again you're saying we'll be OK because we're about to start playing really bad teams. Surely we'll be the prettiest wall flower.

---We can't continue to play 11 guys---the worst I have seen Wonk play---Need to constantly guard agains TOs on passes---If needed screen Long open to get him the ball---play some High/Low with Hedge and Long---need to better anticipate hard passes coming and catch them---We played well for all but about 12 minutes of 40!!!

Hamilton played one heck of a game. I think our second half run actually killed us. We looked like we thought we had the game. I don't know what Marlin was trying to do after we started the huge downward slide, but we looked completely out of sync on both ends. The Tech guards took over the game and we reverted to sand lot bb and got schooled. That's on Marlin.

When you get on here, we're UL. We'll know who you're referring to. If you don't care, then use the name we prefer. The rest of the world doesn't care if I call you my _____. I don't call you my _____ because you probably don't want me to. It has nothing to do with the rest of the world.

I wouldn't care about it if I were a Tech alum. But we are UL fans and alums and we do.

My neighbor has a sign in his front yard that says NO DOG POOPING ON GRASS. That's our message to the Tech fans on Cajun turf.
