SLU has a transfer from Utah in Donovon Isom who fits their system, which is similar to the Cajuns. If haack does transfer, which I would if I was him, I doubt they would allow him to McNeese bc they are on the schedule next year.

He won't be backing up Nixon.

App State still needs to play Ark State, UL and S. Alabama. Beat Ark State and lose to UL. S. Alabama would be a nice loss but not likely to happen given USA's final 3 games.

GA Southern's toughest remaining conference game is vs. S. Alabama, but that is right after they play Georgia, so anything can happen.

So, IF these other dominos fall (which is a good possibility) AND UL takes cares of business and wins the rest of its games which are all winnable, including App State, we have a great chance of at least sharing the conference championship. Do that and we are 8-4 going to a bowl game for our 5th straight win and 9-4 season. I know, that's a lot of "ifs". We have to first beat ULM and continue to improve week to week. However, considering how the season started, that we are in a rebuilding year, and will have a lot of talent returning next year, that would be an outstanding end to the year to build on.
Appalachian State will run the table and finish the regular season 11-1.

Haack can transfer anywhere he wants after he graduates in May.

Yep. Unless Nixon gets hurt I don't see him staying. There will be tons of options for him if he graduates.

imo I don't think Nixon has looked that great as the proclaimed "runner" he is supposed to be. He doesn't seem to break tackles or get lots of yardage.

Yea. I mean he only ran for over 200 yards. If we're gonna have a mobile QB he needs to get 250 on the ground minimum!

App State is not a winnable game. That team is in the top 25 nationally in offense and defense. They are a real team and will pummel is at home.
