Cajuns Season Opener on TV in Lafayette

LAFAYETTE - As head coach Rickey Bustle addressed the media during his first press luncheon of the season, a deal was being struck to bring the Cajuns season opener to televisions across Acadiana for free. Fans will be able watch Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns open the season at South Carolina thanks to KLWB-TV. More.....

_ In her defense I have 2 points to make.

1) Maybe she misunderstood the question. Her answer seemed to talk about people from other countries not identifying us. Maybe she didn't hear when they said that 1/5 of Americans can't identify the U.S. on a map.

2) Even if she did hear the question right. How are you supposed to answer the question truthfully and still win? The correct answer is that Americans who can't identify the U.S. on a map are complete idiots. They are a waist of valuable space and are taking up good oxygen. For their own safety and ours as well, they should be put down (but in a much more humane way than Michael Vick's dogs). That answer would get you booted out of the arena and the competition. _

What if the same was said for spelling? In the context you used, the word is "waste", not waist.

She said Americans can't tell where the USA is on a map because we don't have enough maps in America. Yup that's it, not enough maps.

Spin it any way you want, but her thoughts were like a needle skipping around on a record. Eventually it settled in a groove, but it made no sense given where it started.

But after back-to-back .500 seasons -- their best two-year run in 12 years -- the Ragin' Cajuns are hoping this will be their breakout season. "Our goal is just to execute and keep getting better," running back Tyrell Fenroy said, "and this should be another step in the right direction." Fenroy, a junior, is 1,086 yards from breaking the school's rushing record of 3,335 yards, held by former Washington Redskins player Brian Mitchell. Fenroy ranks fourth with 2,250 yards.
