That parking lot is sure holding a lot of water. A heavy rain on a Friday night will make it bad for Sat. game day parking.

I don't like all the grey siding. I would rather all red brick.
A red roof like Lourdes Park would have worked.
I think money had a lot to do with the looks of the APC building. After looking at the what they put out a couple of years back, mainly the interior, I think some will be disappointed. They have not pulled the video for the athletic site showing the interior which in my opinion looked first class. That is why I am trying to get inside to take pictures to compare. The showcase was the entrance with the trophy cases the spiral stair case, ceiling height, coaches office, weight room and team theater. When I mention some of these comments to anyone, most say, "it's better than what we got now". IMO the exterior is plain and a no show. They say when you sell your house be sure the entrance is appealing. Land scape and paint. What I see here is lacking.
I actually think the darker gray looks better than a lighter version with the window coloring making a nice contrast. I also think it's a good bit larger than the original documentation suggested. JMO
I will withhold judgment until they are finished. Touch-ups and landscaping can make things look dramatic. Oh, demolishing the cox building is enough for me to smoke a cigarette afterwards, IMO.
----As I look at the design 0f the new building and the location, I am wondering just where and how the players and band will enter! Again , hating to see a building just be done with, I wonder if part of the cox could be salvaged as say an athletic museum or welcoming center after a fix up!
