I will withhold judgment until they are finished. Touch-ups and landscaping can make things look dramatic. Oh, demolishing the cox building is enough for me to smoke a cigarette afterwards, IMO.

Same here, the bricks would make it look and cost a lot more. But would definitely make it a better looking facility.

The same could be said about the facade on the end zone facility too.

I think money had a lot to do with the looks of the APC building. After looking at the what they put out a couple of years back, mainly the interior, I think some will be disappointed. They have not pulled the video for the athletic site showing the interior which in my opinion looked first class. That is why I am trying to get inside to take pictures to compare. The showcase was the entrance with the trophy cases the spiral stair case, ceiling height, coaches office, weight room and team theater. When I mention some of these comments to anyone, most say, "it's better than what we got now". IMO the exterior is plain and a no show. They say when you sell your house be sure the entrance is appealing. Land scape and paint. What I see here is lacking.

It's a facility built for a water hose boy. Lets face it, we don't have the money to build a palace like the P5 boys have. But this is 10x better than what we had and will be better than what most G5 schools have. Rome wasn't built in a day.

I know everyone crapped on me for complaining about spending money on the end zone expansion, but this is why. An extra $8,000,000 would have gone a long way toward making that APC a truly first class facility.

The camera does not do it justice. Lets see what it looks like when it's finished. As long as the guts of the building is there then the fluff can be changed, improved, modified later. Remember, never say "I want" without being willing and able to also say "and am willing to pay for".

Exactly. Cause I'm pretty sure there ain't $8million just hanging around. Just like with the Tigue upgrades. So many are throwing around how we should be doing so much more than what they think is planned...but none have any names of people willing to pay for it.
