Where will the AC unit be located for this building? I guess it will be one of the giant sized a/c's.
That big warehouse / storage building / oilfield shop looking thing is that is connected to the indoor practice? It looks like something that should be on Hwy 90 between Lafayette and New Iberia not on a college campus. Aren't they going to build new athletic facilities somewhere near that big warehouse storage facility?
Since my post got consolidated with this one I will assume that warehouse is what they are calling athletic facilities. It sure is ugly when driving down CD Blvd.
We decided to spend the money on things that truly benefits the student athletes. Unlike LTUR who is spending a fortune on bricks and stucco and a lot less on the athlete. I like our priority.
I disagree. When the APC is finished, it will look great and will blend with the IPF, the SEZ and the T&F facility. Then, the tear down of the Cox Bldg. and the Quadrangle for tailgating there. It is still a work in progress, but will look awesome when finished.
You are correct that is a good place to start. Do we know if UL's is bigger and has more to offer a student athlete as the previous post suggest. I don't know that is why I am asking. I hope the new facility here shows ltur's up and is a better recruiting tool than theirs. I don't have a clue that is why I am asking.
You may be correct. I just know driving down CD Blvd right now it looks like a metal warehouse. That is the side that will be seen the most by the general public and casual fan. The side your speaking of won't be seen unless you drive all the way back there on the baseball field side. I hope when complete the back side that faces CD Blvd is improved tremendously and is no longer an eye sore.
