Looking at the camera shot of the APC, could the south end section where the sloping floor ties in to the second floor be the theater for the football players? It's big enough.
I asked as well, and the worker I asked pointed to another worker who understood some English to come by to speak to me. Even he wasn't real sure of the structure and seemed to indicate that the elevator was on the South College side of the structure they were building but he may have been referencing a construction lift for all I know. While I was there it looked like they were waterproofing the structure and the walls seemed to have some type of brick ties sticking out if it.
Below are photos of the so named "elevator shaft".
Below are a few photos showing the slabs from the S. College end of the stands to the baseball stadium end of the stands.
And a couple of photos from the APC construction.
You know, there are some very pessimistic people that post on RP and I have tried to not let it get to me ... but I guess I'm starting to see what they complain about ... even now, with our biggest physical growth in years ... we still get the SHAFT!
Happy Easter everyone!
In regards the CMU structure that will be a part of the track/soccer complex, this is the elevator shaft and stairwell. Stairs will be in the part of the structure closest to Reinhardt and the elevator shaft is in the part of the structure closest to the track.
----When you have no clue as I have none about construction---I thought that all the stands would be torn down---never knew what a great idea it was to keep the needed parts and add on the locker rooms, coaching offices, and the rest---This will really look great!!!
