On another note, it looks like they are finished with the framing for the cricket and they placed the concrete for the reminder of the second floor. I would guess that they are going to erect the steel for the main entrance next and finish the steel at the stadium end of the building last.

Speaking of towers, what is being done with the new one at Cajun Field? Is there supposed to be a bell in it or some other use?

Right now they are building a giant square cinder block tower.

I was assuming that was an elevator housing as I would think the second level would have to be handicap accessible. It does look like all the sub-surface stuff was completed and all the slabs were poured.

I'm no expert and coukd be wrong but seems like a lot just for an elevator

I haven't seen it yet but perhaps a stairwell is included in the tower?

Maybe so, but this thing is big and there are stacks of cinder blocks on pallets still unused. To me would seem like there are much more efficient wats to build a stairwell but who knows... Might be required by code or something.
