The problem for anyone coming after Hud is going to be trying to match that personality. HIs presence and his positive force of personality are largely responsible for the progress we have made not only on the field but in getting people to buy into UL and the idea that the admin finally "gets it". We need to keep that enthusiasm and support, as well as winnig on the field, going no matter who the coach is but it sure is easier with Hud.
Did I miss something? Has HUD left? Is he already in Gainesville?
----So many times T-Bine you and I are on the same page---remember that Bear Bryant was the AD at Alabama---on a STATE FARM trip one time I met a former tennis pro from California that had played at Alabama and said that the reason he went there was a phone call from coach Bear Bryant!!!
No Crazy, he hasn't left...yet. No one wants him to go. What he has brought to this program, university and region will never be matched. Who would ever want this feeling to end!
Reality is at some point, he will leave. We will not be ready for it. Better to think about it now, then to be 100 percent shocked when it does happen.
I assure you the people who count, even if we think they are weak, are keenly aware of Hud's potential for a bigger pay grade at another school. They will not be caught unaware. He is here now, I am going to enjoy the ride, and worry abut the end of the ride when it ends, not waiting all bent out of shape for disaster.
Crazy is not crazy, he is telling you guys to chill.
