Promoting from within has worked at Boise and TCU, but its not the only model for success. I think you have to look for the best candidate and if that comes from within then so be it.

No Crazy, he hasn't left...yet. No one wants him to go. What he has brought to this program, university and region will never be matched. Who would ever want this feeling to end!
Reality is at some point, he will leave. We will not be ready for it. Better to think about it now, then to be 100 percent shocked when it does happen.

Oh, if only were that to happen. I don't know how good an administrator Hud is, but it seems to me we could find someone to handle that side of tings and let Hud promote and raise funds. Is there really a chance for that?

Zero chance of HUD being Head Coach at Florida next year.

Sun Belt too big an obstacle on resume to overcome, and no major FBS victories.

Hopefully we will offer better compensation package after the season.
