"it's LSU Louisiana then the rest"
The above part of your statement is not true. Does anyone think that Ohio has more respect nationally then Akron, Bowling Green, Kent State, Miami (Oh) or Toledo. Quit playing the "poor little me/wo is me" card. Make your own name and that is ULM, NLU or University of Monroe. No one cares what your name is, so don't care what mine is. This is a 29 year old battle that we are starting to win, thank goodness and why the frig did it take so long?
Geaux UL Cajuns!
Well as I said in another thread and it was strictly my perception certainly not indicative, but I always thought more of UNLV than I did of Nevada.
I think it was because Jerry Tarkanian won big in basketball at a time when I really had my eye on the basketball scene.
With our best player out...I know blah blah blah Gautier then Broadway...just saying...again with the budget the Cajuns have it should never be close...I'm a proud supporter of both schools...I hope both do well...most know you have to crawl before you walk...some just think the Cajuns can run by having 2 good to grat seasons...that creates high expectations that can come back and bite the school if we have down yrs and lose any momentum and those on the fence fans in lafayette
Why is a warhoax fan so worried about LSU's reputation. You think Toledo is worried about Ohio State/Ohio. Pitt fans don't seem all concerned about Penn St. and UPenn. Only in here are fan with fake allegiance to their under performing school so wraped up in other schools try to better themselves.
I am not really sure of your point here, you are the one that said ".and yes Cajuns have won the last 2 games closely vs a under budgeted team.." I pointed out we slammed you last year and beat you 5 years in a row. You are the one making excuses little tabby.
Glad you can support both teams, but I am not ambivalent who I pull for and I feel no threat from the school up in the north east part of the state that wants to be called ULM.
#WeAreLouisiana
sorry if this has been covered, but I went to the article in an attempt to see my comments. Jason Bourne put a link a few days ago to the older (first chronological) comments. that link is broken and loops you back to the original article. Later he comments that "Sorry folks, The News Star has removed that article".
gee...how convenient.
