Turb, you are right, always is not true, but almost always there are going to be bad calls one way or the other, and usually for both teams in the same arena in the same game. And by YOU I think he meant all teams, and I agree with that.
And yes bleu blew a score in game one, and and out against Michigan, but at the same time our players had every opportunity to win game one anyway but could not, and that has to be on them. You think Haack is blaming blue for the non-score or herself for dropping a pop up?
It's water under the bridge... but I have to partly disagree. Michigan should be the one regretting leaving a ball over the fat part of the plate or not cleanly fielding a ball. Haack's drop could be a forgettable moment, if not for "blue". When you earn your way to a super regional, believing you can "take it out of the hands of an official" is unrealistic. This particular sport... with 21 outs in regulation... and numerous one run games... usually decided by one bad pitch... one bobbled ball... cannot be subject to an official making close, slight, view-blocked, impossible angle perspective, personal judgement calls. Interestedly, you rarely see those calls go in favor of the "non monster program"... interestingly.
We have to replace the 1,2,3 & 4 hitters...gonna be tough.
What about some JUCOs??? I think that a junior to be would know that these 4 players are leaving and to come to UL and start would be motivation to get some really great transfers!!!
