Not better, but the winners. The few innings the other Michigan pitcher was able to give them was the difference, imo. We were asking Jordan to do the (nearly) impossible.

Great series. Tough loss. Congrats to team for another great season. And kudos to Wallace - brilliant in postseason

The sad thing is, we were BETTER than Michigan!! We couldn't overcome mistakes in the field AND HOMER umps!

    Lady Cajuns Rock!

I know it doesn't work this way but they were 2 hits away from a UL 3 game sweep.

You got that right! Hard to win when you have to pitch right over the plate for a strike, while Michigan was given a foot off both corners of the plate.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with Joe Davis and Garland Cooper - especially Joe. Kept reminding people that our program is one of the top softball programs in the nation. Kept reminding people that we've been here before - often. Was very knowledgable about our history and about each player's story, tendencies, background... one of the most pleasant announcers I've ever heard call Cajun softball games from that outfit. I'd like to write to tell him so, if someone has his address. ESPN usually sends hacks to these games. I thought Joe did a great job. And Garland's from Northwestern. What do you expect? LOL.

True... but we had no choice. The only pitcher who has performed well in any meaningful games this year was Jordan. People talk about Brown's game against WKU in the SBC tourney, but she gave up 5 runs. We need pitching badly. We need someone to give us a game in the last 2 weekends to get us over the hump.

...I concur with your assessment, plus the errors committed by our slappers.
