My Harris Poll Vote - From the Bird's Nest

Of all the voters, I believe you're the only one that sees it that way. Is everyone else wrong? I just mean does anyone else have ULM ahead of Tech?

Jay probably has the closest view of both programs of anyone voting. I think there's a hair's worth of difference in the two programs this year... a difference only a direct contest could resolve. Calling Jay out on his vote is more indicative of your bias than his. Don't you think? Jay doesn't have a fondness for ULM. He's also not a participant in the Tech bashing on here. This year, it seems he's extremely impressed with Browning. I like the way this young man plays as well. I hope he has his worst day against us.

It's good of you to wish us well against ULM. I believe 99.99% of it is a Tech thing. I used to live in West Monroe many moons ago and still have some great personal Tech friends. There is more animosity between Tech and ULM than there could ever be created between UL and either of those programs. I seriously think Tech needs to do like every other school in the country and stop ignoring another FBS program only 30 minutes down the road. No game would fill up Joe Aillet or Malone stadiums with a record crowd greater than the show down between you two. It's time...

Any school that refuses to play a d1 program 30 minutes away is run by poussays.

ULM is not a top 25 team. They lost to an average Baylor team at home, and a pitiful 1 win Auburn team on the road.

Don't really care about that. I think ULM beats Tech. Kolton Browning wouldn't be stopped by that defense. And no, it isn't a game.

I do disagree with your claim that ULM would beat Louisiana Tech this year. Despite the yardage and points Tech's defense has given up this year, they are one of the top teams in the nation in turnover margin and doing a better job in shutting down their opponents' offenses.

While Louisiana Tech defeated New Mexico State last Saturday, it was the worst overall performance of the year so far. There were a few standouts such as Ryan Allen, Ray Holley, Myles White, and the defense (for the first 50 minutes of the game), but the team had a flat performance overall.

Even though I disagree with you placing ULM one spot above Louisiana Tech this week, I do appreciate your vote for Tech in the Harris Poll. Thanks.

Only one way to know. Ya'll are 30 minutes away, you should be on each other's schedule often. Till you guys man up and play them, you leave it up to humans to decide.

If Tech were in Sun Belt, we would be playing often but we're not.....would it benefit Tech nationally to schedule ULM ( a team that not too many people recognize outside LA) No!!!!! Could ULM beat Tech? Sure...
