Never called y'all a "cupcake" in ANY context btw. And yes, I said I didn't have any "love" for you, as in I'm not a fan and biased for you (I am a fan and biased for TU). But the context of the statement from which he quotes comes, literally, from a thread in which I proceed to defend y'all. I did say that Lafayette wasn't as cool of a cajun town as a hype....inasmuch as I work everyday in Thibodaux and am more impressed by that area. To each his own. I never said Lafayette X, Y, or Z in a negative way. Period. I just haven't. And as for ULL, I have to write that out every day at work, it is habit. I have avidly defended you against jerks who try to call you USL, and have said that I think of you as the best public university in Louisiana. Look it up.

I'm mad at myself for letting myself continue this, and I'm sure it'll lead to him going to try to find more quotes to try to "darn" me, trying to ensnare me to come back and defend some more, and drag this out. The statements come from several different threads. The "defense" he cites is from one thread in which he argues with several greenies who thought he did not exhibit enough of he required Toolame disdain for UL. An example of this "defense"is quoted below. That same quote also contradicts his claim that he considers us the best public university in the state.

And prof did use the word cupcake in describing Toolame's OOC conference opponents as a group. We are one of those opponents mentioned by him in the discussion. So I o not think that constitutes taking him out of context.
