Now that hurts---BTW the Jays open up their new Baseball stadium against Holy Cross Friday---John Ryan gave a ton of money and gets the naming rights!!! The game is a sell out even for SRO!!!!

I've seen the picture of the outside. Can't wait to see pictures of the entire stadium, that thing is nice!

He is a point guard. Raymone and Bryant both play more minutes than him. He is 17 years old and will have to grow into the roll. If you want to put blame on recruiting for starting a freshman PG, so be it.

But, I will tell you this. He will be an all-conference player before he leaves here.

I think you make a great point Jay. Let's keep that in perspective. In Coach Marlin's estimation, these guys are detrimental to the team. These are two of the same guys who helped lead the way to our winning streak last year with considerably less talent. Now they are being detrimental.


Common sense would dictate that without their presence the team will perform at a higher level & win at least one game in the tournament. If they go out & lay an egg, get blown out, & come home one & done, then it would be just as fair to say Coach marlin's decision making with his own guys is detrimental to the team. I say let the next game (or two?) be a deciding factor.

You just schooled me. You just proved why this guy should be playing small forward instead of guard. Look at his rebounds. Then look at his turn overs. Look at his field goal percentage & then look at his free throw percentage. This guy can't handle the rock. He turns it over more than twice as many time as Andrews, even though he has less minutes. He has twice as many rebounds as Andrews, but can't shoot free throws to save his life. If I'm coaching the other team & it's crunch time I know who I'm fouling right now.

Slappy first off after three years its Raymone. The suspension the beginning of the year was becasue he was lied to by the coaching staff on housing and when he questioned what happened it blew up. Marlin actually apologized to Raymone for the meeting. Now so get the facts. He has not done anything. Ask the right questions instead of just taking it a face value.

It's interesting that you bring up the fact that it has been three years. In those three years I have noticed a trend, it's never Raymone's fault and he never does anything wrong. Apparently regardless of who the HC is, they all have it in for Raymone. From your Dec 23, 2009 post:

"Ok here is the deal. Sam Houston was a big win. Everyone keeps talking about the way Andrews played but guess what it does not matter in Lee's world. The kid has seen limited minutes since then. He's a GUARD...he just turned 18...and he DOESN'T have an attitude problem.
