That's a more practical use of personell than what they had Saturday night, but I think the best thing would be JJ at the three & Elfrid on the bench as a utility 6th man until he learns how to become a solid D-1 everyday player.

You don't get it. You will never get it, but that's ok. The point is to get as many SHOOTERS (I use that term loosely at this point because I don't see any on the court) as possible. If JJ & Elfird are in the game together then you have a better chance of attacking the rim & they can create their own shot in a one on one scenario. In fact it would help Elfrid because he wouldn't be facing the other teams fastest defender all the time like he does now running the point. But you need someone running the point who can get either of them the ball. You can argue the scenario, but you are so busy buying into the Marlin doesn't make any mistakes campaign that you won't listen to me anyway.

It matters not though. If they get their butts kicked & they're one & done in this tournament, then Marlin loses this team except one guy, & can't recruit another & then he has a miserable record nest year & is replaced. That's all that will count. Nothing you or I say will change that scenario.

JJ cannot create his own shot. Sorry but every time he puts the ball on the floor after that lame pump fake he gets stripped and turns the ball over.

Elfrid on the other hand can create his own shot with penetration. He just doesn't make them. He needs to learn how to penetrate and dish
