The best possible match up would be the loser of the C-USA championship between Houston/southern Miss. The winner will go to the Liberty bowl. For their other 3 tie-ins there is no excact order of who goes where. So geographically it would make since for them to send us Southern Miss or HOUSTON.

If that is the case - then it would be Southern Miss! That would be awesome!

Yeah I agree. Both fan bases are close enough to blow attendance records out the roof! It also gives us a shot at a very good football team. Now let's say if Southern Miss beats Houston then UH would finish with only one loss. They will be up to around #10 by the championship game, if they lost it would possibly give us a shot at a top 20 team.

Yea but B-Way would tell our defensive coaches how to stop Houston-----VERY INTERESTING!!!!! I have mixed feelings because I want to own New Orleans and just have the whole quarter and CBD all UL---take over the TV and radio and even the Times-Picayune---Talked to Scott and we are lining up vendors with UL shirts and Geaux Cajun stuff hopefully---Time to educate about UL and Louisiana!!

We're not getting UH, I can guarantee that. UH will be the first or second team off the board when it comes to bowls picking them. Tulsa and USM would also be top 3 likely.

From everything I've seen, NO Bowl gets 5th choice. We're probably looking ECU, SMU, UCF.

Throw out UH and USM...they have bigger bowl asperations. This leaves UCF, East Carolina, Tulsa, Marshall or SMU. SMU will probably play in a higer profile bowl so if I had to place a bet it would be on Tulsa or UCF.
