I'm not feeling comfortable until the official announcement is made or we beat Arkansas State next week.
Only the champ has a spot locked up. The 2nd place team can be passed over for the 8th place team if they are bowl qualified.

    No, just...no

This isn't reason, it's ignorance in the bowl selection process and the situation in general. Just, please, don't even try to justify this.

You can be the "voice of reason" but you're voice is wrong. Cajuns are going to New Orleans on December 17

It's 99.9% lock. The NOLA Bowl has to take the Sun Belt Champ 2 out of every 4 years...WKU should have lost tonight. Stupid 10-9 final score

The NO Bowl as a worst case scenario is a given...I doubt the official announcement will be given until the last minute, because the payout is terrible, and a bid anywhere else would pay double or more.

You have no idea what you're talking about if you think the NO Bowl is the worst case scenario and you should probably just shut up.

Only in theory, some bowls pay in vouchers. Vouchers in the form of seats that the school has to sell to actually get the money.

The Little Caesars Pizza Bowl is one on the voucher pay system.

Big bowls do the same thing but it is still hidden in "promise to buy" ticket sales by the school. I can remember some "double pay" bowls picking one team over another because the school promised to buy a certain number of tickets.

UL can make the most money going to the New Orleans Bowl, which makes it a best case scenario.

Ask Rutgers and UConn what they think of double pay.
