I think the Cajuns got caught trying to play the run and the pass on every down. They didn't play thier brand of football, especially on defense. I thint that was the biggest factor in today's "letdown". Play our kind of football (be aggressive) and not thiers from here on out and we'll be fine

It's looking at numbers, we have to now win out just to take second in the sunbelt and hope that Western gets invited to a better bowl just to make the NEw Orleans bowl. I'm sure there will be openings now in New Orleans.

I guess what sucked the most is that we got just plain outplayed. I didn't see that coming.

I can't see how we can blame the refs for this loss. WKU came ready to play and we didn't. The beat us up front on both sides of the ball. We made a bunch of big plays but we could not stop them. We got no pressure on the QB, we let receivers get behind us all night.

We just plain got beat like a drum. Hats off to WKU. The wanted it and they took it.

Refs don't play defense, neither did we today! Can't stop the run, can cover on play action, can't cover kick offs and can't run the ball consistently! Out played and out coached today!

Actually you can win them all. But that is not the point. This was not a case of both teams playing their best game and somebody has to lose. WKU played their best game but we did not. Our D came out flat early and never fully got on track. Our offense was a little better but had breakdowns at critical times. And some of our coaching decisions were suspect.

Again, it's not the end of the world as long as they learn from this loss and get back on track.

He shouldn't have done that, he blew a few calls himself today. I think the team will be ok. Sometimes a loss can bring a team back into focus, with all of the attention they have been getting lately. I have no doubt they will all be on the same page next week!!!

Really!? Is this REALLY how a 6-1 team plays?! Absolute BS. I can understand going up there and having a let down and maybe losing a close game, but we got the cr@p kicked out of us by a 2-4 football team with an 18 game home losing streak. Un f'in
real.

No its real! The game got way from us on 2 series and we lost it in the 4th that is all that happened.
