To all who have their panties in a wad over this game. I said in my post I only got to listen to the game in bits and pieces. Therefore I didn't get to evaluate Blaine's performance. It was a question which requested your opinion. Merely a question. Don't jump me over it. Didn't ask for all that.

If he did, it wasn't many. He got hurt on a special teams tackle and I didn't see him again after that. WKU did a great job against our run game today, and we'd pretty much abandoned it in the 2nd half.

How long has wku been 1-A? Two years in a row we get embarrassed by the same team. I guess last year's loss didn't hurt the team as much as we thought it did.

I think the Cajuns got caught trying to play the run and the pass on every down. They didn't play thier brand of football, especially on defense. I thint that was the biggest factor in today's "letdown". Play our kind of football (be aggressive) and not thiers from here on out and we'll be fine

I kind of forgot what this feels like. I guess it is time for us to come down from the high we've been on for the past few weeks, reset, and come back strong next week. We are still a football team that has won six games and we'll be back on track soon enough.

I'm frustrated as everyone is at this moment. We aren't a Boise State yet, guys. We are not going to blow the pants off everyone every week. With that said, there is no reason why we should have lost tonight. We got out-played and out-coached big time tonight. Also disagree with the 2-point conversion call with about 10 min to go. I think that changed the game late. If we kick extra point, then we kick field goal on our next possession and go down by 8. Instead we, remained down by 2 scores and could make things happen. Hud will have this team ready for next week.

I agree it is not the end of the world but I am disappointed in how poorly we played, very inconsistent. I also thought we should have kicked both on the PAT and the 4th & goal from the 17. That series was very disappointing when you have 1st & goal inside the 5 and you go backwards and come away with nothing at a point when the game was still in doubt.

Hopefully this will loss will get the team focused. I think we learn a lot about the team and the staff next week.
