Nick pledged to the previous staff. The current staff was going to honor this committment but many things have changed in the talent they have gotten to pledge here at various positions. Many of these players were likely not thought of at the beginning of this process. Many things change and I don't think it means the staff doesn't feel that Nick can play or contribute but they have stated that they are bringing in the players that can impact the program now and help us win now. Nick is one of a couple of guys that they feel they will need time to develop. Again, its nothing against him or his talent, its just about bringing in kids who can impact immediately.
