Sorry Pop, but as bad as Ike might be with his swaggin', Rex Ryan has even more of a "diahrrea of the mouth" problem.
GEAUX STEELERS!!!
He just made a big play. I hope the announcers give us a shout out because he wont.
I hate Rex Ryan. The guy is huge douche. Literally. Huge.
The end.
He just gave the Steelers a touchdown. Well at least the official roster gives us credit. BTW is Jason Chery still on the team?

In the words of Jay, the "tub of goo" and his team are getting smashed.
I support Ike because he is a former Ragin' Cajun football player.
I also laugh at the fact there's a "we don't like Ike" thread every time the Steelers play.
There are literally tens of thousands of UL alums out there who don't promote the university. I don't see any reason to have ill will toward those who go down that path.
And before I get an argument about these statements...yes, I know that Ike has a more prominent opportunity to promote the university than most have. But I don't hold that against him. I wish he would say "UL" or "Louisiana"...but he doesn't. End of story. Moving along.
I don't either, I support him.
He never corrected the local media who called him "Ivan" without bothering to find out what he wanted to be called. So forcing correct names must not be in his nature.
All I know is with every great play he makes, someone ... somewhere, is googling him, and no other university in the country (besides UL) gets credit for his rise to the rank of NFL star.
Geaux Cajuns
Turb... I was leaning that way, but you convinced me.
Although am disappointed a bit and would much prefer Ike acknowledge his ties to UL when he introduces himself, I think we should be happy with what he does do for us. As you said... 1) when he plays and kids wonder where he came from, a search will take them to us... 2) Coach Hud can still say, regardless of what Ike does or doesn't say, that he played here and UL sent him to the NFL... and 3) it just isn't worth the energy to get so worked up each time we see him play. It isn't that important.
